With the weather getting colder, this is the time of year when I love to stay home, build a fire and hibernate. Comfortable and cozy clothes are a must for this activity, but when the subject of sweatpants comes up in our house, my husband always refers to this hilarious Seinfeld clip.
Like it or not, Jerry has a point, sweatpants definitely send a certain message. With so many great "loungewear" options (doesn't that word sound so much better?) available, there really isn't an excuse to not look stylish while being comfortable.
And the even better news, loungewear no longer just means valour sweatsuits or having to wear "juicy" across your bum! Some of my favorite places to shop for loungewear are Anthropologie, Target (love the Gilligan & O'Malley brand), J. Crew and Ann Taylor Loft.
Here are the items I am hoping to cozy up with this winter.
